These are my favorite pieces from the DvF spring 2010 fashion show. Her entire collection was so boho-chic, with looks that followed the adventure of a free-spirited woman on safari. Her collection was bohemian, fluid, unconventional, and all together modern... and to think i was impressed with her fall collection. Spring blew that collection out of the WATER!

You can tell from all her pieces that Ms. von Furstenberg used inspiraton from her recent visit to Egypt [lucky duck] to create this adventuring spirit.

Gosh, DvF never ceases to amaze me. Her prints are both ethereal and romantic. I felt there were a few pieces that had some complicated and slightly unpractical layering... but many of the looks were simply elegant. [whoa]

Oh and did I mention the models?! With long flowing hair, the models looked fairylike and delicate. Sparkling, mystical eyes and lips completed their nymph like New York Fashion Week makeup.

Lively and vital.
